"Dr. David Isosceles McAllister is a scientist who has dedicated his work to his life's ambition, to the exclusion of all else. He's created the world's first clone cyborg in Adam. His assistant, Chelsea Dawson, has been in love with David since she first started working for him, though he's never noticed her as a woman. David is surprised when Adam instigates an encounter
between Chelsea that brings him to his senses. Will David realize that there's more to life than just his work?
"I really loved the way Isosceles Triangle opened, leaving your mind racing a mile a minute trying to work out what was going to happen to the main characters. Dr. McAllister sounded strange but cute, with his radical ideas, and finally being able to reach the success he'd always wanted. What I did enjoy most about this story is seeing this man of science finally acknowledge the woman who he'd been working beside for so long, a woman who was in love with him, as a desirable person and one he had strong feelings for. The plot wasn't new but it held a few surprises for me and was written in such a fashion that it kept its momentum from the opening chapter. The sex between the main characters was flaming hot, whether it was a scene between Chelsea and David, or with the irresistible Adam. This made the ménage scenes extremely arousing and helped the main characters develop their relationship at a realistic pace. Adam was absolutely yummy! And the juxtaposition between him and David was marvelously done. Seeing the other side of David in Adam, his cyborg creation, brought other elements into the equation and made this short story a thoroughly enjoyable read. Ms. Alan did these two men justice in the role they played with Chelsea." --Aggie Tsirikas

HAPPY NEW YEAR!
It's New Year's Eve, and I'm making plans for 2008...more steamy romance. I have a couple of stories in the works right now and am considering a sequel to Isosceles. That truly was a fun story to write. And couldn't we all use more fun in the coming year?
If you haven't picked up a copy of
Isosceles Triangle or
Bone Deep this year, there's always time to put that on your list of resolutions for the new year.
I wish I had a few words of wisdom to share, but all I can think to tell you is this: pursue your dreams. They seldom come looking for you--you have to go out and grab them!
Much love and many good wishes for a fantastic, sexy 2008!

Cupid's Library Review
Summer Alan:
Isosceles Triangle
4-1/2 Cupids!
Dr. David Isosceles McAllister's goal in life is to create the first clone cyborg. After years of failure and being ridiculed by the scientific community, David finally succeeds in creating Adam. Adam is Dr. McAllister's doppelganger. In addition to looking just like his creator, Adam has some not so apparent similarities to his creator. Chelsea Dawson, David's long suffering lab assistant, has desired David for more years than she cares to think about with no reciprocation. Upon meeting Adam and after seeing the much wanted passion and desire reciprocated she gives in to her lusts. When David stumbles upon the two together will he be the unemotional scientist or be so overcome with envy that he will act on his own desires?
ISOSCELES TRIANGLE is a fabulous quick read.
MS. ALAN captures the tunnel vision people get when going after something they want regardless of anything else. David is so consumed that he cannot or, rather I should say, does not want to see Chelsea's interest in him for years. I love how the spark that gave life to Adam, gave renewed life to Chelsea and ultimately enlightened David to what was around him and what was most important.
MS. ALAN has a great writing style. It is quite engaging and throughout this read I was delighted by her humor and the various types of passions her characters displayed. This is a fast read which is very easy to finish in one sitting. I was sorry to get through it so fast since each character interested me and this story was so novel to me. The erotic scenes in this book are hot and unique especially the awesome scene at the end of the book. I look forward to reading more from this author.

Isosceles Review...Yolanda Sfetsos
"It's always super cool when machines make a human realize what's really important. That's one of the coolest factors in Sci-Fi. I
really liked the characters, they felt so real. And your writing is very smooth and comfy. Your sex scenes...
woah! My gosh, super kink going on here. Yikes! It was mega hot. Lol. The story was so cool." --Yolanda Sfetsos on

For five years Chelsea has worked beside Dr. David McAllister as he struggles to build the world’s first cyborg. She has loved him every day of these five years but he has never noticed her love. Finally David’s dream has come true and he has developed Adam, a cyborg who is the exact clone of himself. Adam awakens with an erection that is caused by Chelsea but David is oblivious. When David leaves the lab to call the naysayers who fired him years before, Adam begins to seduce Chelsea. Chelsea is reluctant at first but she soon gives in as this is the only chance she may have to be in the arms of the man she loves. When David comes across the two in the midst of passion he is confused by his feelings even as he watches until the end of the act. In a final act of love, Chelsea demands David confront his true motivations and see the true love that stares him in the face.
Isosceles Triangle is an adorable story by Summer Alan! David is a scientist lost in his lab who almost lets love pass him by. Chelsea has stood by her love for five years and is willing to confront him and make David face what he could be giving up. Adam is very much an important part of David and Chelsea’s relationship and their future. I loved the scenes of passion and have to admit to considering the benefits of a husband clone! I loved Isosceles Triangle so much I was saddened to come to the end of the story.

Author's Website: http://summeralan.blogspot.com/Summer Alan has written a great quick read...
Dr. David Isosceles McAllister has finally created a cyborg that his colleagues said couldn't be done. But when he walks in on his creation and his assistant having sex, he realizes what he wanted was right under his nose all along.
Chelsea Dawson has worked with Dr. McAllister for the past ten years. She has also been in love with him all this time but he fails to notice her. When Dr.McAllister's cyborg, who locks exactly like him, expresses his desire and wants to make love to her, she gives in but is caught by Dr. McAllister. So Chelsea devises a plan to have the man himself not just his cyborg.
Summer Alan has written a great quick read about two people who finally realize what is important in life in Isosceles Triangle. David comes to realize that Chelsea is more important than people who don't care about him. You won't want to miss the hot and steamy sex scenes either.

Chelsea Dawson has loved her boss for years. As much as she supports his research in cloning and respects his intelligence, she wonders just what it is going to take for him to see that she loves all of him, not just his mind.
Dr. David Isosceles McAllister has been obsessed for ten years with proving that his cloning and cyborg theories are on target. While he is very attracted to Chelsea, he is so focused on revenge on his former employer and co-workers, he does not allow himself the luxury of a relationship with her.
When David finally figures out what was needed to make his clone cyborg work, he is ecstatic. Chelsea however, is chafing under his perceived disregard and is certain that like all the others this clone cyborg will pop, fizz, and sizzle out quickly without ever opening its eyes. However, when David flips the switch this time it is different, and he names his creation Adam. Will Chelsea be able to use Adam to get David to open his eyes and see what is right in front of him?
Isosceles Triangle is a riveting scifi read that addresses some very real possibilities for the future of science. It poses the question of "Just because we can do something, does it mean we should?" Chelsea's inner turmoil is very well written and you can practically hear her top blowing off at the beginning of the book as her mind tries to figure out a way to get around the good doctor's supposed disregard. I liked how Adam seemed to personify the emotions that David kept hidden, often even from himself. The sex is hotter than a firecracker. I look forward to more books from this author and highly recommend her.

Review from Romance Junkies!

Dr. David Isosceles McAllister had a dream. Ten years ago, he was thrown out of the Science Institute because no one else believed in his dream or thought he had the intelligence to make that dream a reality. Chelsea Dawson has always believed in him and stood by him as his loyal assistant for the last five years, but she has always hoped that Dr. David would see her for something more. She has tried to tempt and tease him and is just about to admit defeat. But everything may change with the unveiling of Adam, an exact cyborg duplicate of the doctor himself. Dr. David has finally achieved his dream and created a living, breathing machine. But he used his own wants, desires and fantasies to fuel the cyborg, and Adam isn't shy about expressing his needs. Will Chelsea get more than she ever hoped for?ISOSCELES TRIANGLE is a cute, fun, futuristic romance that I highly enjoyed. Ms. Alan makes the unbelievable believable in this fast paced, well-written story. Dr. David is a pretty typical egghead, completely focused on his work and gaining recognition from the peers that humiliated him years before. He is a very lovable nerd and a terrific character. Chelsea has a five-year history of unrequited lust and love and you will certainly empathize with her past efforts in trying to gain Dr. David's attention. Adam as a character is just plain terrifically fun and you find yourself rooting for this character, which is really just the side of Dr. David we have never seen. Adam brings Dr. David's hidden desires out of the closet and sparks the romance between David and Chelsea. Dr. David's lust for recognition from his peers wanes when he finds that love is much better than revenge. ISOSCELES TRIANGLE is not appropriate for readers under seventeen however as it contains explicit sex scenes with a menage theme. I enjoyed it immensely and would be happy to read more stories by Ms. Alan.
